After the forms were removed, the pad hole was backfilled & tamped with a remote control "Whacker". As shown here, there are no voids in backfill since all the rain water would have found them. White pipe is a ground ring inspection well.
NOTE: Both towers thus far have been delivered on wet & windy days...
Delivery of steel at Lawrenceville [LWX] MBC "TelePort" POP Facility on 01/28/09. Once tower is erected, it will provide a 190' Monopole Tower for MBC-VA.com Co-Op Members to Connect to MBC's Fiber Optics & use the facility reach out with RF Wireless to serve areas not physically near fiber.
This fiber optic "TelePort" site is located in downtown Lawrenceville VA & is the 2nd of its' type in Virginia. It is managed & funded by the Mid-Atlantic Broadband Cooperative http://www.mbc-va.com
