Thank you so much for your comment. I agree, his facial expressions were something else. I am glad that the Beach Boys have continued to allow the music, for it is very fitting.
He just turned 10 last week, and now has a "surfer dude" shag. Got to admit that many of the girls in his school want him to be their "boyfriend" but I tell him that he has plenty of time for that later in life. Learning is what is important at this moment.

@tcogden Thanks! I am trying to get my dad to grow his hair long too and he finally agreed. He wants to look like John Frusciante lol!

Dalton finally said that he wants his hair long again. What a great feeling for me.
He is cute no matter what, but with that long "Fabio" type of hair, he was just something else.

We let his hair grow back out long, but right before his 9th birthday he decided that he wanted it cut just like John Cena, the wrestler on WWE.
So being that it was HIS decision ( and I didn't protest though I didn't want it cut ) his hair is now very short. But he wanted to "fit in" with all of the other short haired boys at school, so what was I to do?
