When I heard she win the golden globe for musical/comedy performance I was fucking mad, because It was a drama performance, and when she didn't win the SAG award I was Like What the fuck is going on with this people, just give her the prize no need to vote, just give it to her. Best performance in 100 decades.

She would have won the award in the drama category anyway. But still I felt touched by her performance.

I saw the movie and Marion gave an honest interpretation of Edith, a tragic heroine.

The Globes do this all the time. Walk The Line (the Johnny Cash biopic) was nominated for Best Musical/Comedy as well, and Joaquin won Best Actor Muscial/Comedy. He wouldn't have won in the Drama category anyway so it was kinda nice that he got that award.

well, it wasn't Marion actually singing; the songs were mostly recordings of Edith Piaf as they wanted to preserve the exact way she sounded
