Roland Emmerich's Apocalypse

As my final project for my Apocalyptic Cinema class, I studied the films of Roland Emmerich. What I focused on was the fact that they are largely the same film. My argument being that through repetition of the same themes and motifs, Roland Emmerich is desensitizing the public to the themes of apocalyptic film.

So my visual aid for this project is what you see here: a re-edit of Stargate, Independence Day, Godzilla, The Day After Tomorrow.

It's Roland Emmerich's "Apocalypse," a movie that he should seriously consider making.
