  • The grey lid switch comes with a hook up cable and must be replaced as one piece. It breaks a lot.

  • Off balanced load can break the lid switch....,I heard that thing banging like a bunch of squirrels in a barrel the other day, now she said it won't run. That's the first thing I'm going to check....Thank you

  • Sure thing, it was the lid switch that went bad. Replaced it myself! Saved over $300. Thanks again.

  • Excellent advice on how to open the washer. Thanks.

  • Fabulous! Thank you for this video. It saved me a bunch of money. I could not figure out how to get to the cabinet to replace the water pump.

  • Greetings Uncle Harry,

I have a Kenmore 70 series washer that will not drain or spin on any of the cycles. It will fill and agitate just fine. What do I need to do?

    Tori
