corn silage 09 in CT

First load of the morning with the JD 8450, NH230 and the R-model Mack. some of our better corn this year, in the river bottom land. all the rain we had really took its toll.

The 8450 was brand new 30 years ago.Like the setup

Never seen an articulated tractor used on a chopper like that. If you need that much horsepower, why not use a self-propelled and get more productivity out of each pass?
