"Nutter House" was filmed as part of a satirical, heartfelt performance project written and performed by homeless men of the Gold Coast in July-August 2011.

"The MOT club" ("Men Out There") and their project ("The Turtles project") has been showing at the Gold Coast Arts Centre and funded by RADF (Regional Arts Development Funding). The Turtles and their show "It's great being homeless" want to give face to the homeless, tell their stories and educate the wider community about how some very normal, common men ended up there...

"People who are homeless are not social inadequates. They are people without homes." These were the words of Sheila McKechnie, a Scottish trade unionist, housing campaigner and consumer activist. Sheila herself described herself as 'a fully paid up member of the awkward squad'... ;)

For more information, look up "The MOT club" on facebook.
