Θα γυρίσει κι ο τροχός

Ο Φώτης Πολυμέρης ντουμπλάρει τον Αλέκο Αλεξανδράκη στο "Θα γυρίσει κι ο τροχός" των Μιχάλη Σουγιούλ και Αλέκου Σακελλάριου, για τις ανάγκες της ταινίας "Εκείνες που δεν πρέπει ν' αγαπούν", βασισμένης στο θεατρικό έργο των Σακελλάριου - Γιαννακόπουλου "Φτερό στον άνεμο" (1951). Αν δεν κάνω λάθος, πρέπει να είναι το πρώτο αρχοντορεμπέτικο που κινηματογραφήθηκε...
A well-known Greek singer Fotis Polimeris lent his voice to Alekos Alexandrakis in "Tha gyrisei ki o trohos (The weal will turn)" by composer Mihalis Souyoul and writer Alekos Sakellarios. This is probably the first "archontorebetiko" song performed on screen. The film is titled "Ekeines pou den prepei n' agapoun (Those who must not love)" (1951) and is directed by Alekos Sakellarios. Also staring Anna Kalouta, Smaroula Giouli, Labros Konstadaras, Periklis Hristoforidis, Koulis Stoligas, Giannis Gionakis (...on his first movie appearance) Liana Vitsori (... on her one and only appearance on screen) and Georgia Vasileiadou. The film is based on the play "Ftero ston anemo (A feather in the wind)" written by Christos Giannakopoulos and Alekos Sakellarios.
