How ironic and paradoxical that since 1947 that the US government has and continues to deny the existence of UFO's and aliens. Yet Bush was had plans in place to build a space defence system for possible hostile encounters. I think that's what one would say is ironic.

The world *is* a ghetto. 80% don't get what you rave so much about. Because capitalism doesnt deliver. The Russians could take part in a race to space without capitalism, so its not necessary to invent mobile phones, as you suggest (i give you that capitalism was a stronger "gun" in the cold war). If people get children they dont want thats because of false religious beliefs that cancel out everything thats sexual. Replacing oil kills the companys, the workers will work at solar-tec or whatever.

And by the way, me, I'd rather like to see the world be run by tree-huggers than by greedy selfish bankers who think one million for themselves is too few and who dont care if millions of people die if the profit is right..
