The oil WILL be shipped overseas and the USA will be stuck with the risks AND expenses presented by the pipeline as well as the toxic byproduct. We get NOTHING other than a fee charged Canada to use the pipeline and the expense to refine the product, we take on ALL of the risk of major damage to the aquifers for a few dollars of profit. Makes NO sense to me, it's a risk NOT worth taking.

I don't hate anyone involved with this 'project'. I hate the idea that the people affected by the pipeline are losing. I hate the idea that Trans Canada has promised 'minimal' risk and the people that have accepted 'minimal' risk as good enough.

From reading your comment you should not hate the pipeline or TransCanada. Becuase their not cutting deals with oil buyers. All TransCanada is doing is building a pipeline to transport the oil to refineries. Where the refinery will refine the oil and sell it buyers, Not TransCanada.
