40% of americans pay 0 fed taxes and the bottom 45% of those that pay taxes only pay 35% of all fed taxes, down from 39% in 2000.

my stats were either from the TAX FOUNDATION or the IRS, but i was probably quoting them from memory since they look as though they may be rounded off ... they are accurate though and widely available...the TAX FOUNDATION's site is, i think, is easier to navigate then then the clunkier IRS site, but both will get you there.

@theMETALDOVE The only thing I have to say about your bogus tax presentations is that in 2003, those making less than $250,000 a year, paid almost 65% of the tax burden at a tax rate above 36% of their earnings, compared to those making $250,000 and higher only paying 24% of their income as taxes.

You might wanna look at some actual IRS tax tables before you try your propaganda on me.

As far as Levin being a fascist, what's wrong with that? He supports corporations over the people.

@theMETALDOVE And to show you how much you don't know, here's why 9/11 was carried out when it was.... the group that was the enemy prior to Al Qaeda was known as Black September. They carried out the murder of 11 Israelis at the Olympic Games in Munich, Germany. So there you have September and 11. Then you have the fact the summer games closing ceremony was September 11, 1972. And they were notorious for their campaign of letter bomb attacks throughout that September.

@theMETALDOVE How could he have gone a bit further? Al Qaeda didn't exist until 2000, remember?? The only reason 9/11 was planned, was because Bush won the nomination. And why didn't you say anything about Able Danger? Bush shut them down and ignored all of that evidence. Why? And what about the Northern Alliance commander Ahmad Shah Massoud who warned Bush THREE times, in June, July and August, that an attack was coming. Bush ignored it all, even Fox News called Massoud an idiot.

2 its only conjecture, but a strong case can be made that 9/11 could've been stopped in its earlest planning stages had a more aggressive investigation been ordered. that said i dont think clinton did anything, necesssarly wrong. i think he did what he thought was necessary. foerign policy has a way of becoming easier with a decade or two of hindsight.
