Cass and Frankie 1993--Ryan Assures Frankie That She and Cass Will Get Married

Frankie tells Ryan she would not have made it through this day without him. Ryan tells Frankie that she knows him--he loves all of her non-weddings. When Frankie says she's beginning to wonder if it's ever going to happen, Ryan tells his best friend that people who are meant to be together end up together no matter what. Then Ryan kisses Frankie's cheek and leaves.

After Ryan leaves, Frankie rubs Cass's shoulders and tells him that she's been thinking about Douglas. He called Frankie over to his house because he wanted to tell her something, but she never found out what it was. Cass says maybe he just wanted to see Frankie, but she says it was more than that. Frankie then sits on Cass's lap and tells him that Douglas thanked her and told her she was the only one who understood as the medical team was taking him away. Cass and Frankie don't notice Christy eavesdropping on them. Frankie asks Cass what he supposes Douglas meant when he told Frankie she was the only one who understood. Meanwhile, outside Cass and Frankie's house, Ryan looks up at the night sky and recalls telling Frankie just a few minutes earlier that people who are meant to be together end up together no matter what.
