What album is this song from. I thought I had heard all his songs but this one has just about knocked me down. It is beautiful.

  • Sorry, I wish I could tell you, but I don't really know, I got this off a CD or an album I no longer have in my possession, I got rid of all my vinyl when I went digital.

    Barry

  • this particular song features on an album by BRIAN POOLE and the TREMELOES. they do it brilliant

  • I only know one song by Brian Poole, called "Someone,Someone" I have it also by The Crickets (after they left Buddy Holly)They do a great job on it, and I really like the Brian Poole version also. I will look around for some more of his music.

  • this song was only done on a LP(later a CD) as far as I know Brian Poole never did this song as a single PITY. I would like to hear the Crickets version. is it possible please?

  • Yes, I had been thinking of uploading it, now I certainly will, enjoy.

  • As a PS. to my previous answer, I assumed you were referring to the Song, "Someone, Someone" by The Crickets. If so, I have previously uploaded it weeks ago, I had forgotten.

  • @ConnieFFan47 - Try "For Your sweet love"

  • @ConnieFFan47 It's on his For Your Sweet Love album! I have it! =)

  • Thanks for the post. Never heard this before.

  • Wow! Incredibly beautiful. This song should have been released as a single.

Ricky Nelson at his very best.

  • @SirBasildeBrush Sir Basil...what would us "oldies" You Tube folks do without folks like you with encyclopedic knowledge? Don't you just love Rick's backup singers featuring lead guitarist James Burton, who also later backed up Elvis and later than Elvis..."Roy the Boy" Orbison? By the way...thankfully I own the "For Your Sweet Love" album...now...if I can just find a turntable that works or someone who can repair the ones I have!!!!...thanks awfully...Tunesmith

  • I met Rick through Johnny Rivers and then became friends with him and his brother David in the early 1960's. We played football on Elvis' team, EP Enterprises. I'm so happy to be able to hear songs I remember from those days... Thanks! Wes Bryan

  • so! you have the Brian Polle version on video responce. nice one!

  • this is a great song. it has been done by brian poole and tremeloes on one of their albums.

  • Add &fmt=18 at the end of the URL to hear this in wonderful stereo! Great post barry.

  • A single from 1963, and also appeared on the 1963 album 'For Your Sweet Love'. One of his smoothest ballads - and great stereo!
