What is a sitzprobe? With some new guest stars! (Vlog#37 10/27/10)

PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION! :D

Hello once again to another fun day of awesomeness! We had the Sitzprobe for "The Wedding Singer" last night... and it was my duty to get good audio of the music, like that actually happened lolz.

Me + Camera + A.D.D. = Awesomesauce.

Sitzprobe (German) is a term used in opera and musical theatre to describe a seated rehearsal where the singers sing with the orchestra, focusing attention on integrating the two groups. It is often the first rehearsal where the orchestra and singers rehearse together. The equivalent Italian term is prova all'italiana. "THE MORE YOU KNOW!"

Haha, so yes super busy with life and trying to get everything organized. I think I am going to write down a list of all the projects I am working on, and get each one done before starting the next.. its a bit overwhelming at this point.

@MaryLouWhoBlog Community theatre. For the most part we are having fun! There has been a bit of drama lately though, which i want to talk about on the vlog... but i believe it involves someone who follows me.

@F0olishoverlord well the camera that I use is the Kodak Zi8, which allows you to switch out the internal memory up to 32 gigs. It also has a microphone input, which is super nice when it comes to filming shows...

The only problem i have is that it doesnt have a manual focus/exposure, which makes it hard to keep the light the same throughout the video. If you look at my earlier videos you can see the change in it.

I use a sony handycam right now for editing.
