The Cao Dai Temple is a synthesis of architectural styles, reflecting a blend of world religions. Ngo Minh Chiu was the founder who began receiving messages or revelations in 1919. The saints of the religion include: Sun Yat-sen, the 19c French writer Victor Hugo and the 16c Vietnamese poet Nguyen Binh Khiem.
