Two waterfalls, separated by 2,500 miles, one is near the Pacific Crest Trail (longest in the U.S.) and the other is at the beginning of the Appalachian Trail (second longest in the U.S.). The Multnomah Falls are about 20 miles east of Portland Oregon. Amicalola State Park is in north Georgia, 7 miles from the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail.
