For someone to come out of their mouth & say that Teena was a thief, they don't know shit about her or music. Teena was a great song writer & artist. About all of her songs were original pieces. Singing comes from the heart. Her heart was in R&B soul. She is well missed as well as my favorite artist, Gerald Levert. RIP.

They say it about their friends and people they know. It goes something like this, "You know Joe can really sing, work on cars, paint, draw, and cook, but happen to him?" I love myself some Teena Marie, the woman could sing. It doesn't matter whether she was black or white, her music was song from the heart. I know this, because I used to dance, and I could dance! I didn't dance because the music sounded good. I danced because the music made me feel good through my veins. I could feel the music inside my heart and soul, and i still feel the music, but it is according. You know the sound, the beat, what they're saying, and smoothness within itself.
