This is "Khanom La". Sweet from southern Thailand. Crispy and sweet!!
I have watch Malaysian's "Roti Jala" vid and I can say they are complete different. Roti Jala is eaten as a meal but Khanom La is eaten as a snack.

I think this dish is actually Malay in origin (southern Thailand is strongly Malay-influenced). In Malaysia and Indonesia it is called "roti jala".

You can be right. I should have tried this. It was hard to try every interesting looking thing when I was there. I could eat only so much. Thank you for the tip.
