@konjunktion26 Hey! Ich lebe hier in Deutschland seit 3 Jahren. Ich kann nur ein bisschen Deutsch aber dein Englisch ist viel besser als mein Deutsch. If you want to watch movies, then opera is not faster, but for general browsing, it is faster. You can try it. If you don't like it firefox is a good choice as well.

Thank you very much! Very good explanation, sorry for my bad englisch i am from germany, so yes indeed its diffcult to talk but i wanted to ask additional something. I have DSL 16000 and Opera still is faster than Firefox when I download or watch a video stream movie?

That turbo mode is not activated because it is only meant for slow connections. If you have a normal connection, than it won't help you at all. It is faster because it has a faster engine. It may not be a whole lot faster but speed is mostly dependent on your internet connection speed. The main reason why people use it is because it has more features and is more stable.

i have a question. i am not a expert or so for computer and browsers, but i heard from a lot people that opera is a lot faster than firefox and its better than internet explorer, so my question is the following: i downloaded now opera and i saw it has a turbo button and i have this turbo button not activated, so when i watch youtube videos - is opera already in normal standard mode faster than firefox? or do i need to configure opera first? and why is it so much faster? could you please explain?
