Arthur/Gwen/Lancelot - Maiden's Choice

A Merlin video which looks at how Gwen chooses Arthur the 'Lord' rather than Lancelot the 'Knight'. Clips up to series 3, episode 13.

I am in no way saying that Gwen chooses Arthur due to his greater material wealth like the Maiden in the song. However, I thought the lyrics illustrated the difference between the two men; Lancelot is quite poetic and romantic in the way he speaks to Guinevere, but Arthur isn't too forthcoming with his feelings for her.

I have to say that as I was making this video I appreciated the Gwen/Lancelot romance a lot more, and I felt quite sorry for Lancelot, especially when Arthur and Gwen kissed right in front of him :'(

Anyway, I hope you like it, please rate and leave a comment. Don't post any Arthur/Gwen or Gwen/Lancelot hate though, let's be positive- we're all Merlin fans :- )

This is beautiful. This love triangle is so sad, more so for Lancelot. And the choice for Gwen...........mind you, having two hot guys vying for your attention doesn't sound so bad to me! :D

I agree with what you say in your description about the differences between Lancelot and Arthur. I feel for Lancelot too, like you say. Poor guy "/
