~ Chit Phumisak (25 September 1930 - 5 May 1966) was a philologist, writer, and student revolutionary whose book "The Face of Thai Feudalism" offered an early class analysis of Thai history. Chit translated Marx's "Communist Manifesto" into Thai before joining the Thai Communist Party in the jungle of Thailand, where he was shot dead in 1966.

~ Anusorn Tipayanon worked as an guest lecturer in architecture at Bangkok's Silpakorn University before beginning his career as a writer. His collection of stories "Household Objects" was nominated for the prestigious Southeast Asia Write Award (SEA Write Award) in 2008.

~ Wanida Tantiwittayapitak (7 November 1955 - 6 December 2007) was a student activist who participated in workers' struggles, anti-nuclear protests, and the anti-dam movement in Thailand. Before the 1976 student massacre, she assisted striking workers from the Hara Jeans factory in producing their own goods for sale. She was a founding member and advisor to Thailand's Assembly of the Poor.

Wanida Tantiwittayapitak (7 de Noviembre de 1955 - 6 de Diciembre de 2007) fue una estudiante activista que participó en luchas de trabajadores, protestas anti-nucleares, y movimientos anti-represas en Tailandia. Antes de la masacre de estudiantes en 1976, ella ayudó a los trabajadores de la fábrica de Hara Jeans en huelga a producir sus propios productos para vender. Ella fue una de las fundadoras y consejeras de La Asamblea de los Pobres de Tailandia.
