I agree that each person has a right to have their own preference on which camera to buy and use, but please, PLEASE, read the owner's manual on the XSI and learn how to properly use it before bashing it. I understand being an amateur, but be an informed amateur before posting these reviews. It's okay to like the D60 better but I feel you can't bash the Canon before you properly know how to use it and have given it a thorough run-over. That being said, I am a personal Canon man.

I'm honestly saying this because I know how both Nikon AND Canon work. Canon is difficult to use because they don't give you the information inside the camera like the Nikon does, you have to literally open the manual-I know its a pain but it helps. And Nikon everything is just in there-so like whatever. Honestly I like Canon better, you just have to know how to use it before ranting on how bad canon is.

Canons are better in point and shoot then Nikons. I prefer Nikon in DSLR. Yes, you heard correct Canons are less vibrant than Nikons. I think Canons have less noise just by a bit but noise really relies on several factors mostly ISO and lighting conditions. I prefer Nikon because their pictures have more depth imo and that is just an opinion get whichever camera feels more comfortable in your hand you can't go wrong with Nikon or Canon dslrs.

O ok good, but I'm still tryna decide whether to get a nikon or canon... my canon point and shoot s780 has like TONS of noise when taking photos... and another thing I heard too is that the canon's slr's don't have much colour or vibrance... anyways I may get the XS instead of the XSI as it's cheaper and it has less mega pix resulting in less noise perhaps... what do you think?

If you read your Canon manual, you might have given it a chance. It sounded like you had the Canon for a day before you made this review.
I am glad you got back the d60 which seemed to work out better for you.
Cheers
why would you want a silver camera thats the dumbest thing and ur laptop looks grey and your xsi looks silver
