Just to clarify - in the UK we call them Coalfish BUT in the States you call the same fish POLLOCK with two O's. NOT to be confused with the closely related fish we call POLLACK with an A in the UK that you don't get in the States!! The two fish are Pollachius virens (POLLOCK/COALFISH) and Pollachius pollachius (POLLACK). Confused ?

Yes they are all empty. There is a processing yard about 300yrds away and they used to dump them there.

In the Isle of Man, middle of the Irish sea UK. They are what we call Coalfish, but you maybe call them something different
