India Fest 2008 Road to Freedom

This video traces the Indian Freedom Movement from First War of Indian Independence (1857) to India`s freedom (1947). India was under the rule of East India Company from past 100 years until Indian the India`s soul woke up in 1857 (called awakening here) to put an end to company rule.
The kids dressed as freedom fighters come to stage in ascending order of the age. Small kids come first, representing the era of 1857(the First War of Indian Independence), when the opposition to British Rule was not so widespread. The growth of the movement will be shown by kids in the increasing order of age till we finally reach the year 1947, when India is ultimately free from British Rule.
This show is an attempt to pay respects to all the freedom fighters that lost their lives in independence movement.
