Chrisni Mendis wrote a novel -- Behind Locked Doors
Chrisni read an extract from her novel, which she had written in only three months. In this extract, we discover of how a girl switches personalities, closes up and becomes an introvert due to the death of her mother.
i didn't really get a professional editor yet... but... you should send it through to a couple of english teachers. thats what im doing. make about 3 or 4 drafts then send it through an actual editor. I dont have a publisher yet... im trying to find one.

Thanks^^ and I want to ask you one more question about this. Where did you get an editor and a publisher for u to publish the book?

secondly, do a couple of character sketches. and you should be able to round off the character while the novel is progressing. and, this book is still in editing stages. This would probably be the second draft, it is still incomplete. So for my goal for the PP was not to publish a fully-edited novel but to write drafts for the manuscript itself. (p.s. it is so much easier this way)

Hey! Well i had to finish this novel in two months during June/July holidays. which was pretty much cramped up cuz in gr 10 there would be a lot of assignments. So you should begin planing your novel and begin writing your first draft of the manuscript as soon as possible. This way you wont be pressured by the other subjects. What i did first was draw a table and list all the events that is going to happen in the novel. This way i could write any random chapter and still keep it organised.

Hi! I am a Year9 MYP student from Hong Kong and I want to ask you some questions about the novel. How did you do it and how did you get it published? I was wondering about this because I planned to write one for my PP for the following year too~
