Its either the pcb relays worn out which means new PCB or the fan at the top of the unit is starting to pack up.When that happens the pilot etc will go out as a safety to stop cm poisining as the fumes cant escape.Just fixed mine was the fan, first turned slower then made a noise, then refuses to ignite. You can physically see the fan moving if you remove the casing,it should kick in when the thermostat is switched on,spin freely and fast and quiet, try force spinning it,if it kicks in it was fan

Check out my video: How to fix a modern combi boiler (consumers revenge) Staring in this video is the Baxi 100 HE Plus and a big sledge hammer

what are these mugs on about the baxi range is great, lovely to work on, easy to fix, hardly any probs with most of the range - the problem here is almostdefinately the pcb but would need to check voltages to the fan and confirm the aps is recognising air flow, but the only grief I get with these is the flue/fan gaskets fry out and give high carbon monoxide emmissions - invest in an alarm

Baxi JUNK!!!!! Hate them. The company for which I work installs them. I, however, am a service tech. So they install them, I repair them. AWFUL!!!

solo PF pcb's, arent they the best! you'll get no calls to them for months then you'll visit a home with one where it sounds like its trying to rap! gotta love em!

Agreed, Baxi is the worst possible boiler on the planet, except for one that has been crushed in the scrap yard it's performance and reliability cannot be equalled in uselessness.
One very pissed off Baxi Customer

Why are Baxi boilers so SH*T and yet so popular? There's nothing but complaints on the web about them. For a relatively simple device their build quality is very, very poor. Most give trouble after only 3 years. Surely they should last a lot longer without breaking down?
Had the PCB replaced still didn't work. British had fella came and fixed it finally....was the thermostat
