I love that the credits say "Miss Fraser and Miss Laye's Beachwear by Silhouette". Which it is, but so is the underwear. Even a Carry On film is too coy too actually mention women's frillies by name in 1962..
Silhouette are still going strong - trouble is they have an inaccurate image as "control wear" for the older, larger lady. Rubbish - we've just forgotten women are supposed to look like this - not 12!.
Silhouette could do worse than to revisit some of their old designs...
