Erhm... The IRA was an entirely different threat to the 7/7 bombers...
The IRA gave phone warnings when it planted bombs, ( unless it was a tory.. who cares?)
IRA members did not use suicide bombers etc... Different threat.. Different ways to deal with it.

No one in the UK seems to understand the American laws. People who don't have health care insurance, have access to private health care. It's the law.
This joker insinuates that people die due to the health care system. Not true. We have the best care system in the world, and the poor people have access for free.

They are doing very similar things here in Britain; eroding our rights and civil liberties under the pretence of protecting us from terrorism. Though strangely when the threat was from the IRA none of these measures were neccesary. It's a terrible state of affairs for citizens of both countries.

Don't forget the patriot act. We now have almost NO rights! What happened to this "Freedom loving America?" One terrorist act happened and bush was able to screw us out of everything!

If you think it is better to pay twice as much for the same thing by yourself because you are scared of your government...Then maybe you should live in another country? I find that incredibly strange that you cannot trust your government...
And if the USA has a good system, then why do we have twice the infant mortality, lower age of death, 2x the GDP expenditure, and 44 million uninsured? That simply makes no sense...

Strangely all the Asians I know can construct sentences better than you.

Because its law in the UK that you must recieve treatment...in the US companies may refuse to treat your cancer if you forgot to mention you had asthma when you were two...

Or you could have a system like the UK where everyone is covered, the outcomes are better and it costs half as much. Meanwhile in the US, 4 drug companies have been fined $124 million for defrauding the state massively.

Americans love freedom so much that they have 25% of the worlds prison population, have less press freedom than taiwan, and force pregnant mothers in jail to give birth in chains. Disgusting.

People do move to the UK, due our health service and for many other reasons, including our tolerant society. 58% of the US population has difficulty either accessing or paying for healthcare. Healthcare is always rationed- but in Britain it is rationed by NICE on a scientific basis and is accountable. In the US it is rationed on the basis of not providing care to tens of millions, and by insurance companies denying care for ridiculous reasons like...pregnancy.
Drives me insane listening to these ignorant yanks mock one of the few great British institutions. And they used Orwell a someone who believed in social democracy and the NHS to discredit the NHS. They have no integrity whatsoever.

Americans are attacking our system beause they are so ignorant, they deplore any method used by Britain as a thought that were invading their 'freedom' lol. They think somehow that our NHS is linked to our dental care...hmm, no its not. Dental is seperate, we have to pay for it in the same way Americans pay for theyre health care, which is probably why a fair few people may have below par teeth. Because they cant be fucked to pay for something they believe not to be fatal like their health.
