A Roland Handsonic HPD15 connected to an Apple Macbook via MIDI. It triggers the HANG sample library from Soniccouture.

Feel free to post comments here, maybe I will upload some tunes when I have practised enough ;)

  • Was it hard to set up the midi note data, or did you just have to plug it into your audio interface or midi keyboard and it was already mapped?

  • @doddboy34 I had to map the HPD15 first, but it is quite easy to do. You just have to set a specific midi note for every pad that matches the note you want to hear from the hang library.

  • is that the sonic couture hang?

  • @crpederson Yup, its the sample library from soniccouture
