Still have mine and enjoy it. I think you'll enjoy one too.

@brianway1 I'm thinking about buying an eastwood breadwinner because I like the idea of it being more comfortable than my current guitar (and they look super cool) but the guy talking about them being poorly made put me off a bit. In your experience are they as badly made as he made it out to be?

Great review, thx~~~

Yes, exactly. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy your Breadwinner in the near future, as I have mine.

@brianway1 I'll generally agree on the active switch applying a boost but an interesting thing is that it sounds also such like it makes the bridge pickup sound less bright when activated. Would you agree having played it in person? By the way, I'm considering buying a Breadwinner and I must say that your video enticed me a lot to buy it, more than the original Eastwood demo to be precise ;)

That was great thanks.

yes. good eye. That one is a Deacon.

or is a perhaps a deacon??? in the back?
OK, I have an original Deacon, which is a luxury version of the Breadwinner. I had been looking forward to playing an Eastwood copy for some time, but was bitterly disappointed when I did.
The build quality was awful on the Eastwood; neck out of alignment, low grade wood, thin, weedy sound, fret markers badly set and misaligned, cheap hardware, strings not correctly aligned with p/u's due to neck misalignment,
Compare this with the original; stunning to play, great wood altho still poor sound.

@MrSteviesavage
You may want to check out Guitars with Jon Way episode 9. It's the only left hand deacon to come out of the factory.
