  • So I think you can say both issues are masterpieces. The whole thing what happened was so excellent it got me thinking ok what is the vilest that I want one of the super villains of my super heroes to do.

  • Just started reading Invincible around issue 61 and am totally hooked on this series. I had to get all the back HC's just like u mentioned in this post. I agree more people should know about this comic its got a lot going for it such as... great characters that readers either love or hate, great writing and top-notch artwork. Issue 63 was my favorite comic of the year no doubt!! Nice post keep it up!!

  • did anyone else notice that conquest mustache disappeared in the last panel of #61 ? :)

  • I like Invincible, and agree that it's a great book for those new to superheroes or comics in general. But for a longtime capes reader like me, it doesn't really bring anything new or innovative to the genre, it just does classic superhero tropes really well, with engaging (though again, not particularly original) characters. It's an entertaining and satisfying read, but the BEST thing out there? I dunno... though it might have the widest appeal of any super-book, which does count for a lot.

  • conquest is awesome, I love how he just loves to fight

  • Robert makes NO money off the single issues, just a percentage off the trade paperbacks and hardcovers, and those accruals only happen once or twice a year. He pays his art team everything, doesn't want them going anywhere. And that's the main reason WHY he has artists stick with him for so long.

  • This is an Image comic? I usually don't read image thought I do respect their work. If there are some collected editions of Invinicvle I might buy a volume to get caught up and maybe get into it. Thanks for the info guys. I'll see about this when I go to my local comic seller.

  • I'm sorry...uh...what was my co-host's name again?

    :-P
