So thus it has come to pass, the unyielding hypocrisy
A creative massive for embattlement of such tyranny
Born for western paranoia of the new Middle East
Unprepared of depleted armouries against the beast

Mahmoud Ahmedinejad with the fingers in the scalp
Of every western world leader antagonised to the pulp
The spy planes of virtual secrecy of a penance for war
The rockets of Kim Jong-il to rub the wounds raw

Filling the tanks with the oils of the innocence
Did we not expect this story of a nuclear defiance?
And for when the escalation of tension mounts
Just who strikes first or does it mean life counts?

The screams of the warriors in atomic fire still cry
In the nightmares of the prophetic and the political lie
Or does December 21st 2012 still hold the sway
Upon a conclusion in death from this very day

Where will be the technologies of sustainment?
Under a nuclear winters bleak environment
To save us from the next pandemic of future year
When the paranoia of the WHO to strike the fear

Where do we run to in this anarchy of modernisation?
When robbing the supposed blind who seek compensation
In the blood of the western civilisation sought in hatred
Have we finally lost the control of the vote so sacred?

Do we decide on left or right to trigger the engagement?
Or do we die in fascism or so equally without acknowledgement
Whose son or daughter do you send off to a final war?
Who suffers now when riches are as useless as the poor?

Come now, is there really much left in amongst the strife
The last remaining crop of the vestige of human life
Or has the dice of the gods been rolled to determine?
That greed, religion, power, politics, really was the sin

  • I simply decide not to pitter patter about or beat about the bush, it is the way it is now and so it has become part of what i do as it has become part of our daily lives. Thank you!!

  • TOO modern...TOO up to date....will it ENDURE ?

Poets like Bob Dylan and Bob Marley deliberately disguised the lyrics so that they might apply to almost any war...almost any sin

...on the basis...maybe... that in their opinion...all wars are the same...

  • aw thanks dude!! :)

  • Why break with good habits?!
