As an alternative to the live version videos available so far, here is a video edit I created today featuring a good quality stereo recording of the current STUDIO VERSION of the 2008 Norwegian Eurovision Song Contest entry by MARIA HAUKAAS STORENG, 'Hold On, Be Strong' set to the live visual performance from the national song contest. I say 'current studio version' as this could be rearranged before it gets an official release or maybe different to how it will eventually be performance in May.

This year was crap for a majority of song but the few that stood out for me was Iceland, Norway, Latvia & Sweden. Where did any of these counries come..Nowhere! Eurovision is such a joke when it comes to voting. Neighbours seem to be more important than for talent of the song.

Eurovision watchers remember winners more than anything. Take ABBA, Manfred Man & Lulu for instance, people remember those that actually won the Eurovision. The best of my countries came 5th...That doesnt win anything.

It is a shame that other countries with less good songs came higher. This is the point I'm trying to make without any offence meant!

Erm, Norway came 5th, Latvia 12th and Iceland 13th. Out of 24 songs, and all having to go through the semi final in the first place, you call that nowhere? Maybe you should check your facts before you jump on the bandwagon.
