On March 12, 2008 students and members of the public put the death penalty "on trial." It was conducted as a sort of public "trial" at which the "defendant" was the death penalty.

What a farce! Anyway.. it doesn't matter whether the death penalty deters or not! It is the CORRECT punishment for violent criminals who murder other people - period! The proper use of capital punishment must be preserved in every state! Write to your elected authorities and SUPPORT them in upholding and protecting the state's RIGHT and DUTY to protect law-abiding citizens! In any case, it IS the proper punishment for capital crimes. Don't be deterred by straw men like "deterrence." Thnx

I wonder how many of these people that want to stop the death penalty are actually pro abortion?
That would be the epitome of disgusting,sick human beings. Lets save murderers and kill babies!
