PS2 Underrated Gem: Rise of the Kasai

This is a series of gameplay vids I'm doing highlighting overlooked games for the PS2.

This is the sequel to The Mark of Kri, and it retains all the good stuff from the original. It's got a good story, an expanded cast of playable characters, and it retains all the elements that I liked about the original.

If you liked the original game, then you should look into this one.

Rise of the Kasai is only available on the PS2.

Is this the NTSC version, I have been looking for this but heard it wasn't released here in Europe, ever play Blood Will Tell, great game ;-)

Is this one better than the Mark of Kri?

You can also play as the brother. It lets you choose between the two.

yeah this is a real downside for me 2, i live in the uk & first discovered the mark of kri in 2004 going for £20, i've loved it ever since.

i'll probably buy this from ebay & pick up a modded ps2 or something...

Great game.Fighting multiple enemies here was a blast, none of that running around in circles like an idiot, wildly swinging your weapon like in the Dynasty Warrior series.

Who else is going broke buying all these old games, keep them up teh2Dgamer love this series.......especially since Im quite young (with respect to majority age of gamers: 34) and havent even heard of most of these games.

Why Hidden Gems like these never get a reboot but a overrated or well known series does....and developers think "oh fans wouldn't like this" oh how wrong you are.

This game was great, I have played both Mark Of Kri and Raise Of The Kasai, I liked them both, Raise Of The Kasai got my attention the most because of Tati (perv). If this game was successful, the title of the game would change, few more hero's to play, more killer moves, and online play

But man, no woman in gaming history would ever, and I mean ever, fight being half naked, Tati is one bad chick

Great game! Underrated, just like the original, and that other PS2-title that never hit the big public; Primal. Hopefully, we'll see a sequel to Rise of the Kasai on PS3 and Primal 2, also on PS3... but I doubt it...
