In part 5 #618 has left the consist and returned to Heber Depot to pick up regularly scheduled passenger service to Deer Creek reservoir. #75 performs several runbys on the grade above the reservoir.
@Strasburg1991 We've been asked to confirm that Heber will have a regular season this summer. The rumors that it will go out of business aren't true. Of course no one knows what the future economy will be but for now it looks like business as usual for them. Keep our fingers crossed.
@Chris9017 Thanks for your kind words. 618 is scattered from shop to shop but hopefully she'll be reassembled for future rides. And 75 back up as well.
I sure hope they get 75 back in service real soon because seeing this makes me want to ride the train. 618 is now down for an overhaul as well, and won't be back for a while. So once the 75 comes back, I've gotta make a trip with my fiance to ride this train, it looks like a beautiful ride.
Once again, great shot, and thank you for sharing. 75 sure is a beautiful engine.
