It was very surprising for me to find that "A Good Earth" by Mrs. Buck became a trilogy. i only stumbled upon this by accident after purchasing the third book in it: "A House Divided." The second book "Sons" is now on my reading list.

And i will someday make a vid about "A Good Earth" as it appears that one has not been made. Considering it is one of my very favourite books from a very favourite author: really it should be done.

This book gets **** from me. Five would go to the first book in the trilogy. Almost always eh?

  • Do you know Pearl s. Buch was born in china and lived til 40 y/o before left to united-States

  • hooked on phonics ftw!

  • @lwanatt yes, but i don't know how to spell or talk well in Korean , so i'm shit out of luck. I do attend University but i never have even gone to one class, because I can't read, i wish i could do the homework, i could listen to a lecture but that's fucking boring ! lol

i got in cos my mom took the sats for me, lol

well, last year i got all f's and i got an A in public speaking cos all i had to do was speak in public ...

  • so you went from five years old to eighteen years old in public school, and they taught you korean but not english? this story is more bizarre than any ufo encounter ive ever heard

  • @lwanatt it's called going to public school in that blue state shithole called California , i think 60% of Californians are iliterate. I can read and write in Korean but I'm mexican and american.....WTF

WISH I COULD GO TO COLLEGE/ GET A JOB

    DAMN

  • woah!? thats so crazy? you dont read english? or you dont read any language? how did you manage to avoid learning to read in these times?

  • ohhhhh interesting thanks! Have an autobiography-not sure as to it's whereabouts at the moment....i shall look into the biographies! :)

  • I'm also a huge Pearl Buck fan, and I have a copy of that trilogy which was released in one book called "House Of Earth." If you haven't already read them, I heartily suggest her biographies of her parents (for which she won the Nobel Prize) and also the 3 installments of her autobiography.

  • i can't read at all

i read two books a day

    ( via audiobook )

    btw i am not typing

i have a program that types what i speak

    wish i could read
