Sheldon overlooks the fact that Lesley thinks Loop Quantum Gravity better unites quantum mechanics with general relativity than the String Theory.

As a pure mathematician, these things seem too complicated for me. The real world is a mess! I'm just gonna go back to my topological space..

You are going to have to explain "shallow". How does that even apply to a television comedy?

Well, intelligence is not just large vocabulary. I do think that these and other science concepts are often misunderstood.

Okay...people at work keep telling me about this show. I've told them I hate t.v. and haven't watched in decades, that I prefer to watch lectures on quantum physics on YouTube. They tell me "oh, you'll like String Theory. It's scientific, intellectual and entertaining!" Really? Not by this clip. Just a bunch of scientific terms thrown around by actors who likely haven't the vaguest idea what quantum physics is about..all for a few laughs. Why would I want to waste my time with such tripe?

Bitch, they used to think Newtonian space and time was the future of physics.

The Big Bang Theory is the one of the most shallow comedy on tv, Raj is funny though
