OWS' first 'National Gathering'

In America, Wednesday marks the country's Independence Day, and while most Americans will hit the road to go on vacation the Occupy Wall Street movement will be in full swing. Occupy groups will be gathering in Philadelphia, PA in an event being called "The National Gathering" to shed light on corporate greed and to show the world OWS is still alive and well. RT's Abby Martin has more for the city of brotherly love.

In order to EVOLve we first need to learn to LOVE one another, in order to change the world, we first have to change ourselves. Bring on a new critical thinking group or government if you will, give them media to get to the masses, hold talks about what really affects us as a species and get the people behind it with new ideas of social evolution.

We need a new system which allows free food, shelter and education to everybody.

So this Occupy movement been going on for how long now?? And how much has been gained during that time? How much has changed in da favor of the movement? Who listens to the demands of the people involved in the movement? At least have the coppers come to help the people in the timeframe of violance towards the people? I have seen all 3 Zeitgeist's. I'd have to say 2 and 3 are more appealing to me, bu I like 1 well enough... I belong to Zeitgeist as well as Occupy, because i came to the same conclusions as Jacques Fresco and Peter Joseph... I don't join groups to belong, I join groups whose ideals I share so we can work together to improve chances of success. I've been arguing about automation since the early 1990's. People still think I'm nuts, but the day will come. I've always been concerned about others.

i haven't made anyone do anything. in fact, i've spent my whole life analyzing and coming up with new ideas. i can't help it if you want to remain in the dark ages, but i want to persuade people to advance society. we have the tools and the ideas, and it is the entrenched self serving conservative (preserving) ideologies that are killing us. I am doing very well in society, and this is not about what i want for me, it is about what i can do to improve the lives of the global population.
