I found this because i was looking for a jeans advert from around the same time (early 80's) which utilised the same freeze-frame and cut to ripping photo gimmick (but in colour!). Not sure if it was levi's or ?
But it had a New Romo style and robo dancing with a lyric that went "What's going on what's going on what's going on" Anyone got that?

Fannytastic! I've wanted to see this again for years! I think for people today spoiled by the ease of CG, it will be pretty difficult to imagine how powerful this video was at the time. It looks so rough now, but then it looked like unreal! How did they do it etc. This one video inspired me to make film. thx D.
