Battered P42DC #43 leads the Amtrak Pere Marquette 371 East. Not only is a 4th Superliner on this train unusual, it's also a Sightseer Car which is something I've never seen before.

I was onboard Amtrak 371 the Pere Marquette and wondered if you were in the mass of foamers!!! The sightseer lounge was on the train for the Pere Marquette's Silver Anniversary (25th) the day previous, and I lived in that car from Grand Rapids to Chicago!!!

Actually, The Lake Shore Limited always uses single level cars all year round, cause it goes to and from New York, which it prohibits Superliners to go there.
