  • @gko1966 How difficult was it to take her from a static model too an RC

  • where can i buy it? ive always wanted a uss constution

  • @jamiekenta ahh i see i'll take a look at your video

  • @MrRuski96 that's really cool! I wish i knew how to scratch build r/c ships, i attempted one a couple years ago (i have a vid of it) but it came out looking terrible. it worked okay for about five minutes in the water but the propeller shaft vibrated to a point where it just came out of the coupler to the motor. i have a more effective setup in my yamato, may have to post a vid when it's finished and running in the pond! good luck with your ship btw!

  • @jamiekenta cool, thats why i like building my own because i can make the ship the right size and make sure every thing fits good

  • @MrRuski96 i see. I don't have the skill to scratch build so I would use the revell kit which I can get working in r/c, but it is difficult to access the battery. i think i would cut out a section of the deck so i can put in a small r/c car battery. would compromise the scale look of the deck but the overall look of the ship would hide that.

  • @jamiekenta im going to start a frigate soon, i do scratch builds and what i use for servos is i buy a cheap electric boat that has atleast like 200 ft range and just build around it and i leave so space so i can change the battery's and turn it on and off, it turns out cheaper than buying servos and also its less confusing because everything is done for except the body of the ship
