Comes Shining on,than when this Lady
From her water-palace shady
Floats across the lucent lake,
And all her starry lilies make
Obeisance ; every water-sprite
Gazing after with delight,
Only wishing he might dare
Just to touch her streaming hair.
Meanwhile,crowds of fairies glide
Over,under,the crystal tide,
Some on swimmimg-birds astride,
Some with merry fishes at play,
Darting round her rippling way.

From Fairy land by Richard Doyle.

I thought that this wispy sound would be very appropriate for this block prints atmosphere .
If I remember correctly,I have heard that Irish Ascetic Monks used this type of small bell to obtain a calm and peacefull quietness of mind.Of course the bell is a replica, not one of the originals !!
確か聞いた話によればアイルランドの修行僧が自らの精神を鎮める為に使っていた鈴だそうです。詩は日本語訳を見つけられなくて。リチャード ドイルの妖精の国より。

One of the cousins who photographed the cardboard cut-out fairies in Cottingley maintained that the fifth of the five photographs shows a real fairy. The other cousin admitted that it is a fake. I'm afraid that I believe the latter!

Yes,I have heard that. But personally,I want to believe the fifth photograph is not fake, because I really think it's impossible to make such a photograph ! I thought It really looks like not fake photograph, small girl is sitting in the bosquet !

I am very surprised that you have heard of the ''Cottingley Fairies'' ,What ever the truth of the fifth ''Fairy'' the young girls were very clever to be able to do such wonderfull and convincing fake photos and to also fool the famous writer ''Sir Arthur Conan Doyle '' creator of ''Sherlock Holmes'' the famous detective stories !!
