Looking for a car that screams the 1950's? Something that's so nostalgic that you'll feel like you're in "Back to the Future!" Well here we go, a 1956 Ford Victoria Hardtop THUNDERBIRD! All completely restored and finished in its original colors of Raven Black and Snowshoe White paint scheme, with brand new black and white interior. Under hood rests the numbers-matching M-Code 292 V8 "Thunderbird Special" engine. With factory dual exhaust ported through the rear bumper it produces 202 horsepower and 289 ft/lbs of torque. When cranked, all is proven true with a quick start up and a perfect idle that's extremely smooth. Gears are shifted by available upgraded Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission which makes the car much more pleasurable to drive than a three speed manual.

Laser straight body lines highlight the level of restoration that went into this eye popping collectible. Embellished body work that starts from under the hood, elaborated throughout the body and small details that even end up in the trunk. Mint condition chrome that is the staple of this generation wraps this car and fully completes it. Moving inside, you will notice this car's interior is extremely clean from the carpet to the headliner. The original gauge cluster is also in fantastic condition and looks excellent. A previous owner has added aftermarket gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, and battery amps into the center of the dash to help monitor the 292 V8's vital signs a little more closely. The interior of this Victoria is in really nice condition and has a quality feel throughout.

All makes and models from the 50's saw constant change due to the high competition within the industry and the 1956 Ford is no different. This year had certain exterior upgrades from the '55 model which included a change from the "Egg Crate" grill to the more modern and widened rectangle box style that solidified its popularity. The biggest change to the '56 was Ford's adoption of a 12-volt electrical system across the line. The frame and undercarriage of this rare classic car is in excellent condition as the pictures suggest. Even underneath you can see this is a very solid southern car with excellent original floors and a very solid original frame. The car's original door data tag is still in place and decodes as follows:
