Can't go wrong with Pioneer. I got a full Pioneer system in my car, no need for subwoofers ;)

I have the A1673rs 6.5 inch 3 way speakers, and the mids are quite muddy. How do mids compare in this series?
-
@rocker12347 That was an excellent question! I've been comparing these two speakers tonight. Did you buy either one, which did you choose, and how do you like them?
-
can they handle 100 watts rms each from an amp?
-
@Schwarzeneggerrr But these won't charge you a fortune either. Cheapest I found the 696 to be brand new was 200$. You can EASILY find the d-series pioneer premiers for 125-150$.

Are these better than Jbl T696 ?? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! HAUHAUHAUAHUAHUAHUAHUA

Which one sounds better, Pioneer TS-A1072R, or TS-D1002R? I'm wondering what to put in the front. I decided to put TS-A4672R for rear. Do I need also an amplifier? (I don't have a subwoofer unit)

I want too see them in action. I have the new Pioneer 6x9 5ways (TS-A6993R) in the rear and the Pioneer 6.5 4ways (TS-A1683R) in the front powered by a kenwood (KDC-HD942U) with a kenwood amp (KAC-8405) and it sound AWESOME!!! I wonder how these would sound

I was reffereing to the ts-d6902r in the comment below as the speaker I was asking to be compared to the ts-a6993r.
Are these better than TSA6963R?

Absolutely, the TS-D6902R is a phenomenal sounding speaker for the money. It has several upgrades compared to the TS-A6963R, including a more rigid cone, soft-dome tweeter with back chamber for incredibly detailed high frequencies, and a built-in crossover. If you love your music, you will love these speakers!
Compare the two, and build your ideal system, at Pioneer's fit guide tool on the website. Thanks!
