An animal encounter puts the boy's on edge as the hike to a remote region on Southern Alberta front range. High above the four pools of the "Quadra Falls".

fishing didn't look overly good but the spot was unreal id love to smoke a blunt and toss a few lines in that location

Definitely a marmot. I've seen a lot of them over my years of peak baggin'. This is a cool place. I finally figured out exactly where it is, thanks to a pic in I stumbled across in a book. Good on ya for walking that far! Not sure if I can justify that.

so where is this Quadra falls? in the SW Alberta isnt it? I'm in the SW..heard it might be around this area somewhere...wicked video though...what kinda cam you guys use? olympus waterproof ? maybe I'll run into you somewhere on my travels fly fishin :)

@libbertines not sure what i was thinking with the music on this one, lol. Sparrow was starting to get sick when we were set to film this one. Over 30kms hike in one day was too much for the old dog to endure. so I left her at home. She passed away a few months later.

@humblefisherman Sorry to hear that; when i get a house of my own i'm going to get a dog and train it to coem fishing with me!! you're videos are brilliant btw!

@STMN69 sure had a nasty set of teeth, not sure what it was. Never seen one before or since, in books or otherwise. Nota marmot :) it's in Southern Alberta, if you want to know details send me a PM.
