was watching this from a 2010 or 2011 festival with Duvall, but sorry people, nothing to do, I dont think ANYONE in this planet can replace Layne and that fucking voice that comes from the deepest pits of hell itself man, what a singer, what a loss, what a great band, they should have stayed disbanded or get a fucking AMAZING vocalist, cause this duvall guy cant cut it...

I agree, @evilnoz51, @diodimov. Lane is irreplaceable, but saying the band should have broken up because he died is unfair to the rest of the band.

i just listened to duvall sing this in a 2010 clip and gave him a lot of credit for trying to walk in jesus' sandals. i take back everything i said after listening to this FUCKING MASTERPIECE! Layne is an Angel with an AirRaid Siren of a Voice

@afoolisharrangement Especially cause Layne was generally a badass. People were more authentic back then imo. Analog is a more realistic depiction of real life than digital is.

I always love the way so many people who never met Layne, and were probably 5 years old last time he toured with Chains, seem to know his wishes. NO ONE can replace Layne, but don't blame Duvall. He's a good vocalist, and is helping Jerry, Sean, and Mike make some good music. I trust Jerry, Sean, and Mike's opinion over what the band should do over some anonymous person on the net.
