Finished product can vary from low 50's to mid to high 60's k. Yes you need training for this as it is in the experimental category, not ultralight like some of the other piston models. Some will tell you all you need is a private fixedwing to fly this because it is experimental. My suggestion to you is get good proffesional dual in a helicopter and get at a minimum your private ticket
