"World renowned failure at both death and life" This line hit me. I know Peter had several failed suicide attempts, but I don't think he really understood how successful he was as a musician and the impact he still has on thousands, if not millions, of loving fans. Out of all the musicians we've lost, I miss Peter the most!

This song perfectly describes Peter's struggles with addiction. His addictions were his Anesthesia against his feelings about life and love. I've wondered what would cause a successful person like Peter to want to die...this adds some insight into it, sad as it may be.
