Based on the adrenaline-packed film, the Top Gun video game lets players take to the skies in a free-flying air combat shooter where they take the role of Maverick to blast enemies out of the sky, obliterate ground and air-based targets and show off their extreme flying prowess. After graduation from the Top Gun Academy, players will fly in the danger zone with fellow US Navy pilots over the Indian Ocean as they gun down the Soviets, defend and attack bases and engage in large-scale dogfight battles. Featuring classic compositions from the movie such as the "Top Gun" anthem and "Danger Zone," players feel what it is like to fly with the big guns.
